I just recently found this website called Menus 4 Moms. Its really helpful. They send you a weekly email of dinners. Its only Monday-Friday, but it can really give you some ideas. There were times before where the kids would say to me oh tacos again or hamburgers again. Now with this menu I get other ideas about what to make for dinner. I usually dont make everything they have planned out, but it really helps you out by giving you some new ideas.

Hi, I just found out about this site yesterday, and am very excited. I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. My daughter just turned 7, My son is 5, he'll be 6 this month, and my youngest son is almost 17 months. Things can get pretty hectic around here with the kids, as you all know. When I have free time I usually get on the computer, or relax and watch t.v. I dont really get out, except to go to the grocery store, and to pick up the kids from school. As of lately I have just been enjoying being able to spend quality time with my youngest. Now that my other kids are at school, I have extra time to spend alone with him. Well, I look foward to talking to all of you. Talk to you later!!Smile

Chocolate Pudding Graveyard We made this last halloween. The kids loved it. It was a box of instant pudding mixed with some cool whip. Then topped with crumbled oreos to look like dirt. Then we cut some vannila creme filled cookies in half to look like tombstones, then we just added some candy corns, marshmallows (for ghosts) and the little candy pumpkins. Then you put into the fridge. After we went trick or treating we came home and ate it. Its was good! A little too sweet for me, but the kids loved it!!

Yes, thats right pezzy. www.menus4moms.com ... Its really helpful. Every Thursday they send you a new menu for the next week. Its a lot of help for me. I always have the hardest time thinking of what to make for dinner week after week. The kids seem to like it too, they dont have to eat the same thing over and over. Now we have variety!!Smile They also have a lot of other interesting things to read on their site.

Hi SJ!!! Sounds like you are pretty busy!! It sounds like we already have one thing in common. Our cat is also called Zoe. We call her Baby Zoe. She is also really good with our son. He is 17 months. She is very patient with him, and with all of our kids. Sometimes I feel sorry for her. About 2 years ago, my other son (he was 4 at the time) stuffed her into the dresser drawer. I was looking everywhere for her. She ended up being stuck in there for most of the day. We didnt find her until we got home that evening. You could just barely hear her poor muffled meows. Poor thing.Frown

Okay, here is exactly what I just did. I opened my original picture (.jpeg 1.27mb) with MS Paint. I saved as and changed the format to .gif When I went to check my saved pic, it went from 1.27mb to 1.53mb. I'm not sure if thats the way I am supposed to do it. I'm not that good with that kind of stuff:o . I know I have some Adobe Photoshop programs around here somewhere. My mom bought me a couple different programs. I'll have to try and find those when I get some extra time, and see if maybe I can do something with that. Please let me know if I am doing it right. Maybe I am just missing a step. Thanks for all of your help!!!Smile

My son was a lot like that when he was that age. There where times he would wake up at 10, i'd feed him, he'd go back to sleep, then he would wake up around 2 am. I just pretty much went with it. There were times i felt really frustrated, but I would just push myself through it. I would come into the living room watch tv while feeding him, sometimes almost falling asleep myself. Now he is 17 months and he sleeps through the whole night. Every now and then he'll wake up, but I just give his pacifier and he goes back to sleep. I'm sure eventually your son will get through this stage. And probably begin doing something else to drive you crazy!! My son now LOVES running away from me when I call him. In the meantime enjoy it:eek: . I know it sounds weird, but while my son Jacob was going through that stage, I would tell myself enjoy it now. Because soon enough he wont be a baby anymore, and one day I will miss these middle of the night wakeups.

Now that I have figured that out, when I get some extra time I'll be uploading some more pics!!!:D I'm so excited now!! Thanks for all of your help. If it wasnt for your help, I would probably still be sitting here pulling out my hair trying to figure it out!! Thanks!!:D

I definetly love Pampers. Baby dry or Cruisers. The Cruisers tabs are stretchier than Baby Dry, but both are just as good. That is all my son has worn since the day he came home from the hospital. With my other 2 children, we would usually try to get the cheapest diapers back then. Money was tight and to us the cheaper the better, but some of those diapers were just so bad, I think cloth probably would have been better!! There was a time when my daughter woke up, and the diaper had fallen appart. EEWW!! It was a mess!!! I think at that time she was using a grocery store brand. I'll never use grocery store brands again, unless there is one out there as good as Pampers. I havent had any problems with pampers. Plus they are always sending me coupons, and samples!!

CBeeWife said:

whenever my daughter (6) sees his image on tv she looks at me and says..."See mom, Steve isn't heaven." ugh

My daughter said the same thing (she is 7). The whole thing is just so sad. Mainly for his wife and children. Especially his son. He is so young, and probably wont even remember his dad as he gets older. Also its sad his dad wont be around to pass the tradition onto him. I think his daughter Bindi will probably follow in his footsteps. And about the video of his death, I hope it doesnt come out for his kids sake. When I was young my father died, and its hard enough knowing how your parent has died, but to have to see it. I couldnt even imagine how hard that would be. It would probably be burned into you mind forever. You would never be able to get rid of that image, and that is something no one should have to see.
