You can have spotting which can seem like a period. Before I knew I was pregnant with Jacob...I also thought I was having a period. Turned out it was spotting. The only difference was it only lasted a couple days.

I would suggest either taking a pregnancy test...or search the web about periods & pregnancy. Hope I helped a little!

I also saw Oprah's Show...there are lots of things we can all do to help the environment...and most of them are things that are so easy to do. A couple things from Oprah's show like....using 1 less napkin a day....or not taking a reciept from the atm....all help the environment. I think we can all do that!

Thanks for posting the info Rhonda!!!

I agree w/Keri. My daughter was also 2 weeks overdue and she also had meconium....I was planning to have her at a birthing center...but when they broke my water and saw there was meconium I had to have her in the hospitla...just in case of any complications. With my son I was induced a week past my due date....that delivery was fine. With Jacob I told my new dr about my past pregnancies and she decided to induce 2 weeks before my due date...mainly because of the size of Jacob...she was worried that I again would go past my due date and if we waited any longer he may be too big, and I would probably need a c-section.

Im sure if she talks with her dr they should agree that inducing now is way better than waiting until last minute.

Wish her luck!! I know how uncomfortable being overdue is!!

A couple years ago...around this time....my daughter also woke up with those hives. They lasted a couple days and eventually went away. I also gave her benedryl and put calomine lotion to soothe the itching. She also didnt show any other symptons....just hives and itching. I also asked the pharmacist and she said it was most likey an allergic reaction.

I hope she gets better!

I just went through this not too long ago with my daughter & son. The public library has a lot of different books about this. They have really basic books to more in depth....all depending on age range. I was able to read the 1 book....that was more basic. I did chicken out on reading the second book. It was a little more descriptive about men and women and where babies come from. It was for ages 6-8...so I am trying to gather up the nerves and this time I am going through with it. I want my kids to know they can come to me if they have questions...so I know this is something I have to face.

If you are here in Phoenix, AZ here is the link to the Library online database....if not I am sure you can find your libraries website and search online at their selection of books. Good Luck!

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare mt_mail() (previously declared in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/util/mail.config.php:5) in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/util/mail.config.php on line 385

That is the error I received after I tried replying to a post in one of the groups. I clicked back on my broswer until I was back at the original post.....my reply was posted, but in the Group forum area it shows there are 0 replies.
